My goal in the mixing process is to help the artists achieve the sound they strive for. I prefer to make the music sound authentic, roomy and real over an over-produced product.
Hybrid Approach
Besides mixing in the very convenient digital domain, I love working with analog gear! In the past few years I have collected quite a lot of different gear that helps me shape the sound the way I want. A big portion of the gear is self-built which is even more satisfying for me to use.
Working with analog gear also forces you to actually listen to what’s happening in stead of looking at the graph on the screen. A complete list of available equipment is available upon request.
